Cequint Appoints New Chief

SEATTLE, WA – Jan. 16, 2006 – Cequint, a provider of enhanced caller ID services for mobile operators, announces the appointment of Rick Hennessey as Chief Executive Officer.

Hennessey brings a wealth of experience to Cequint, with more than 12-years in the wireless industry. Prior to joining Cequint, Hennessey was CEO of Dwango Wireless, a leading developer and publisher of mobile entertainment content for top lifestyle brands. Rick's role as CEO resulted in remarkable growth and the coordination of partnerships with leading wireless carriers and premium brands like ESPN, Playboy, Rolling Stone, Beliefnet, Real Networks and Napster.

In 2001, Hennessey founded Over-The-Air Wireless (OTA), a successful application developer and content producer in the North American ringtone and media marketplace. OTA was the first company in the U.S. to successfully deliver ringtones on a CDMA network. Hennessey also established OTA's relationships with seven of the North American wireless carriers and agreements with the top music publishers before Dwango acquired OTA in 2003. Prior to OTA, Hennessey was founder and CEO of Eversio Technologies, Eversio Mobile and Syndeo Systems.

"Wireless subscribers are asking for Enhanced Caller ID services and Cequint is unquestionably the market leader," said Rick Hennessey. "It is exciting to see a proven management team combined with a product that is experiencing rapid growth at such an early stage of distribution. As we continue to expand our business by adding wireless carriers as sales channels there is incredible growth potential for the organization."

Mark Gosselin, co-founder and CTO of Cequint, said "We're excited to have Rick on board assuming a leadership role that will allow us capitalize on our technology development and early market success. Rick's experience with carriers and existing relationships will be invaluable assets as we begin deploy our service to mobile operators in the first quarter of 2006."
